যেন  শেষ গানে মোর সব রাগিণী পূরে--
       আমার      সব আনন্দ মেলে তাহার সুরে।
                    যে আনন্দে মাটির ধরা হাসে
                    অধীর হয়ে তরুলতায় ঘাসে,
                    যে আনন্দে দুই পাগলের মতো
                           জীবন-মরণ বেড়ায় ভুবন ঘুরে--
                           সেই আনন্দ মেলে তাহার সুরে।
       যে আনন্দ আসে ঝড়ের বেশে,
       ঘুমন্ত প্রাণ জাগায় অট্ট হেসে।
              যে আনন্দ দাঁড়ায় আঁখিজলে
              দুঃখ-ব্যথার রক্তশতদলে,
              যা আছে সব ধুলায় ফেলে দিয়ে
                    যে আনন্দে বচন নাহি ফুরে
                    সেই আনন্দ মেলে তাহার সুরে।

III. 13. sadh sangat pitam
GO THOU TO the company of the good, where the Beloved One has His dwelling place:
Take all thy thoughts and love and instruction from thence.
Let that assembly be burnt to ashes where His Name is not spoken!
Tell me, how couldst thou bold a wedding-feast, if the bridegroom himself were not there?
Waver no more, think only of the Beloved;
Set not thy heart on the worship of other gods, there is no worth in the worship of other masters.
Kabir deliberates and says: 'Thus thou shalt never find the Beloved!'

যখনি যেমনি হোক জিতেনের মর্‌জি
কথায় কথায় তার লাগে আশ্চর্যি।
অডিটর ছিল জিতু হিসাবেতে টঙ্ক,
আপিসে মেলাতেছিল বজেটের অঙ্ক;
শুনলে সে, গেছে দেশে রামদীন দর্‌জি,
শুনতে না-শুনতেই বলে 'আশ্চর্যি'।
যে দোকানি গাড়ি তাকে করেছিল বিক্রি
কিছুতে দাম না পেয়ে করেছে সে ডিক্রি,
বিস্তর ভেবে জিতু উঠল সে গর্জি--
                      'ভারি আশ্চর্যি'।
শুনলে, জামাইবাড়ি ছিল বুড়ি ঝিনাদায়,
ছ বছর মেলেরিয়া ভুগে ভুগে চিনা দায়,
   সেদিন মরেছে শেষে পুরোনো সে ওর ঝি,
      জিতেন চশমা খুলে বলে 'আশ্চর্যি'।
