I.13. mo ko kahan dhunro bande
O SERVANT, where dost thou seek Me?
Lo! I am beside thee.
I am neither in temple nor in mosque: I am neither in Kaaba nor in Kailash:
Neither am I in rites and ceremonies, nor in Yoga and renunciation.
If thou art a true seeker, thou shalt at once see Me: thou shalt meet Me in a moment of time.
Kabir says, 'O Sadhu! God is the breath of all breath.'

কাহারে জড়াতে চাহে দুটি বাহুলতা,
কাহারে কাঁদিয়া বলে "যেয়ো না যেয়ো না।'
কেমনে প্রকাশ করে ব্যাকুল বাসনা,
কে শুনেছে বাহুর নীরব আকুলতা !
কোথা হতে নিয়ে আসে হৃদয়ের কথা,
গায়ে লিখে দিয়ে যায় পুলক-অক্ষরে।
পরশে বহিয়া আনে মরমবারতা,
মোহ মেখে রেখে যায় প্রাণের ভিতরে।
কণ্ঠ হতে উতারিয়া যৌবনের মালা
দুইটি আঙুলে ধরি তুলি দেয় গলে।
দুটি বাহু বহি আনে হৃদয়ের ডালা,
রেখে দিয়ে যায় যেন চরণের তলে।
লতায়ে থাকুক বুকে চির-আলিঙ্গন,
ছিঁড়ো না ছিঁড়ো না দুটি বাহুর বন্ধন।

II. 100. nis din salai ghaw
A SORE PAIN troubles me day and night, and I cannot sleep;
I long for the meeting with my Beloved, and my father's house gives me pleasure no more.
The gates of the sky are opened, the temple is revealed:
I meet my husband, and leave at His feet the offering of my body and my mind.
